Grateful Nights Band plays Dead + Phish

April 20^th Grateful Nights Description

Yet another very special Grateful Night! This time we are not only featuring our new friend LilaLuz and bringing back some old friends in Charlie Moreno (bass) and Fran Guillén (drums), plus our classics of Aaron Feder (guitar) and JJ Oliva (keys), but we are excited to welcome Mark Trout coming all the way from Chicago for one week and joining us on lead vocals and percussion. Mark plays in a band in Chicago called Spies of the World and we are extremely happy to have him joining us.

In Mark’s honor, we will play a first set of Phish tunes and a second set of Dead tunes. Now, we know that not everyone loves Phish, but we carefully curate the song list to represent what we think are some of the best songs they play- a few originals and a few covers as well- so there will definitely be something for everyone! Plus, Aaron just loves bringing out more of his pedals than he usually gets to use, and who doesn’t love hearing Charlie Moreno funk out on the slap bass?

As usual, tickets are 10 euros, but we will be starting at 9:30 pm this time, as we keep running out of time at the end of the show- this way we are guaranteed to have two full-length sets!

Una altra Grateful Night molt especial! Aquesta vegada no només tenim a la nostra nova amiga LilaLuz i alguns vells amics en Charlie Moreno (baix) i Fran Guillén (bateria), a més dels nostres clàssics d'Aaron Feder (guitarra) i JJ Oliva (tecles), sinó que estem emocionats a donar la benvinguda a Mark Trout que vindrà des de Chicago durant una setmana i s'uneix a nosaltres com a veu principal i percussió. Mark toca en una banda de Chicago anomenada Spies of the World i estem molt contents de tenir-lo amb nosaltres.

En honor de Mark, tocarem un primer conjunt de cançons Phish i un segon conjunt de Dead. Ara, sabem que no tothom estima Phish, però elaborem acuradament la llista de cançons per representar les que creiem que són algunes de les millors cançons que toquen: algunes originals i algunes versions també. A Aaron li encanta treure més pedals del que fa servir habitualment, i a qui no li agrada sentir com a Charlie Moreno cantar amb el baix slap?

Com és habitual, les entrades tenen un preu de 10 euros, però aquesta vegada començarem a les 21:30, ja que ens quedem sense temps al final de l'espectacle, d'aquesta manera tenim garantits dues parts de llarga durada!
