The Burning Shore plays the Grateful Dead!

“The Burning Shore”  es un grupo que reinterpreta la música de los Grateful Dead, banda mítica de rock psicodélico Americano.  Viene de la mano de Aaron Feder (originario de Chicago), quien no solo había visto los Grateful Dead varias veces en directo, sino que también toca y graba con miembros de la familia de los Grateful Dead, incluyendo Peter Rowan (Old and the Way, ganador de grammys) Oteil Burbridge (bajista de the Allman Brothers y Dead and Company,) Grahame Lesh, hijo de Phil Lesh (bajista de los Dead mismos), Scott Law y Ross James (guitarristas de Phil Lesh), y otro ganador de múltiples Grammys, Eric Krasno. 

Y para que cada noche sea aún más especial, la banda cuenta con la participación de unos invitados muy especiales, según el día. Además de la formación de siempre de John Married (guitarra y voz), JJ Oliva (teclados), Sergio López (batería), Donna Lee (voces), y Aaron Feder (guitarra y voz), cuentan con el gran Joseph Harris con el bajo y Carlos Santos con el saxofón (Alma Afrobeat Ensemble, the Excitements),

¡Y ojo! ¡No confundas esta banda con una típica banda de tributo! Cada bolo es un concierto único- la banda nunca repite el mismo repertorio de un concierto a otro, y cuando repiten canciones, nunca son iguales. Siempre hay una buena dosis de improvisación completamente original, y ¡siempre tocan con el objetivo de hacerte bailar!

“The Burning Shore” is a group that reinterprets the music of the Grateful Dead, the legendary American psychedelic rock band. It comes from Chicago native Aaron Feder, who has not only seen the Grateful Dead live several times, but has also played and recorded with members of the Grateful Dead family, including Oteil Burbridge (bassist for Allman Brothers and Dead and Company,) Grahame Lesh, son of Phil Lesh (bassist for the Dead themselves), Scott Law and Ross James (guitarists for Phil Lesh), and multi-Grammy winners Eric Krasno and Peter Rowan.

And to make each night even more special, the band has the participation of some very special guests, depending on the day. In addition to the usual line-up of John Married (guitar and vocals), JJ Oliva (keyboards), Sergio López (drums), Donna Lee (vocals), and Aaron Feder (guitar and vocals), they have the great Joseph Harris on bass and Carlos Santos on saxophone (Alma Afrobeat Ensemble, the Excitements),

And careful! Don't mistake this band for a typical tribute band! Each gig is a unique concert - the band never repeats the same repertoire from one concert to another, and when they repeat songs, they are never the same. There is always a good dose of completely original improvisation, and they always play with the aim of making you dance!
